1. Goto the Domain Details Page
2. Click Nameservers
3. Under Default Nameservers select Default Parked Nameservers
4. Click Ok
5. On the Domain Details Page
6. Click on Total DNS: (Available) Total DNS Control and MX Records
7. Under A (Host) edit the host @
8. enter in the IP the tumblr gives you 72.32.231.8
9. Click OK
10. Go back to tumblr and under settings on your account use the custom domain you just setup
